The main global awareness competencies are:

The competencies which are fully developed in me as a leader is adaptability. I am able to adapt to new and challenging situations, it is due to the knowledge, openness, understanding cultures and managing people well. Along with that looking for a collaborative work culture and giving responsibility and gaining confidence and trust is key here.

I have business understanding to tackle scenarios and achieve goals in a very systematic approach, and due to transparency, I am able to take the whole organization along with me all the time.

Self-awareness is one of the key areas of improvement, as in the business environment a leader needs to hone several hats and give reactions and responses as per the stake holder in front. Being trustworthy is not always seen as a very correct thing, being positive, progressive, dynamic is good during business target setting but being conscious of the scenarios to not over promise is important. But being a leader, it needs to defy the general goals and challenge conventional steps and go overboard. Being willing to experiment, think differently, and not fear of failure. I am a bit conservative in these approaches and so I need to be self-aware, when to be aggressive and when to be motivating and not fully complacent.

So to learn from others, I need to be dynamic but act slightly slowly, always think more before responding.

Create scenarios in the mind and be very well prepared. Be more adventurous and keep few associates who will be able to assist and consult in this regard, have self-assessing parameters, like time, cost, targets and set benchmarks for self and keep revaluating them on a regular interval.

It is an evolutionary process, but the quicker I am able to be more aware the better it is. So, more exposure and more crunched experience will enable me to overcome this competency.
