Question

This is homework, and I want to do it myself, but I don't understand what it wanted for these elements (I guess I do for the first two, but not sure what is meant when asked about basic operations. The textbook doesn't explain it anywhere). If you help me get the structure and methods, I am sure I can resolve the functions and class data members myself. I think. ANY help is appreciated. However, I do not want someone to just write the code out. I will ask questions as needed. For now, please show me how to get started. I am sorry to beg, but I am low in time (due tonight) and I am just now getting to this part of my homework after resolving tons of other problems. I think I can do it if I just get some REALLY GOOD and obvious help to get me rolling. Declare a Polynomial class that includes: integer - for the degree array - for the list of coefficients basic operations on input and output. Thank you!

Explanation / Answer

what it means is for you to overload your operators (= - + / == ) refer to this tutorial and see if you understand what the prompt is asking you for (use tabs on top to move through topic): http://www.learncpp.com/cpp-tutorial/91-introduction-to-operator-overloading/
