I believe the company is positioning itself in the black people’s mind that the company is aginst the racism and they manufacture the products on the name of humanity.
By this way they can position itself among black American and they will become the loyal customers as well. The company has not advertised any product but the company is advertising itself only. They are advertising all the product mix.
Racism in the America is 100% true and if any company is against it then there is nothing wrong in it. Some companies advertise itself to attach emotionally
For an example look at the Johnson & Johnson baby products advertisements. The advertisement does not show the benefit of the products but it shows the emotional attachment between mother and infant. Hence the company tries to attach emotionally here the same is done by P&G.
The advertisement is not about anti White people. They will be loyal customers as before but black American s will become loyal customers of the company.
