implementing succussful strategies like six sigma in manufacturing firms is always good. but first we should study whether they system is suitable for our firm or not? then only we mya procedd further, if we do not do this, it may be create some other problems.

in the given case, first the management must identify what is the problem in the firm, whether really is there any problem which causes less productivity? or all this is an illusion? as per above information, i came to know that, the employee performance is not upto the mark. it is the major problem for less productivity. majority of the employees feeling that what ever they are doing, that is less important work to organization and to the customers. so, the satisfaction levels are much down and degraded. hence, it is impacted on overall productivity of organization.

so, the management must concentrate on this issue first, later they can focus on other areas. my strategy is, all these employees must provided psychology training classess by experts. they come to know that there are no works which is not important or unprioritized. a work is a work irrespective of any other thing, and every work is important in the process.

the employees believe that work is worship, work is god, do what ever you are there for, do not think for rest. untill these employees change their openion about work and their role, the organization runs in the same way at the same level. they must realize that they are doing material work and it is also important in the process.

the motivation levels of employees is week and if they are not enjoying work at particular levels, do work rotation and job rotation system for them. when they changed the work and workplace with peers, they may find some refreshement and innovativeness in the work and may perform well.

once all these are set right, then the management can think about introduction of new systems like six sigma or any thing else which is opt for this firm.
