Question
when I use the virtual pc 2007 to install win95 OS, Icapture the floppy disk image for the boot disk, and I capture theISO file for the win95 operating system. But there is a problem onthe size of the floppy disk image! Since I have no physical floppydisk socket on my computer, I create the boot disk image filewhich size is 660KB. However, the virtual pc shows a message"Floppy image files must beof the correct size (either 720K or 1.4MB)."So my question is: How can I create a certain size (1.44MB) ofthe floppy disk image? thanks for help! when I use the virtual pc 2007 to install win95 OS, Icapture the floppy disk image for the boot disk, and I capture theISO file for the win95 operating system. Explanation / Answer
Dear User, To create Floppy Disk image: ->Insert bootable floppy into floppy diskdrive. ->Use "WinImage" to read contents of thefloppy.->All files residing into floppy disks are not read by WindowsExplorer. ->To create bootable CD's from bootablefloppies we need every information from floppy. So, we take thehelp of WinImage software. ->Then after save copy of this image in".IMA" format. Even if the content of floppy is not exactly of 1.44MB size, the size of this image file will always be 1.44 MB. Thisformat is readable by UBCD' boot file. ITS HELPFUL TO YOU....
