QUESTION2 Read the extract below and answer the question that follows After staff and other resources were assigned to her project, a project manager listed the following questions that stll 20 Marks) needed to be addressed: Will the assigned labour and or equipment be adequate and available to deal with my project? Will outside contractors have to be used? Do unforeseen resource dependencies exist? Is there a new critical path? Is the original deadline realistic? VWill the initial resources, estimated to be adequately available, vary over the life of the project? Adapted from Larson & Gray, (2011) Discuss an approach you would recommend to the project manager to deal with these concerms.

Explanation / Answer

These conecrn of the project manager is natural and anyone being in that position will have such conerns regarding the project management.I would recommend the life cycle approach to project management which I think fit best. Generallt in life cycle approach of poject mangement, the whole project is seen as a group of specialist fuctions or combination of various resources in the project like cash, material, manpower etc. and each of these resources can be  described in terms of its level of utilization through out the lifetime of the project.These concerns can be dealt by the project manager effectively by following life cycle approach of the project.
