This process can be explained in the following steps:

1) Identification of key stakeholders invovled in the project work:

A project manager should try to make a list of important stakeholders like supplier, investors, beneficiaries , NGOs , government etc. Each participants whether they are directly or indirectly invovled must be interacted through a proper media as per their expectations. The communication needs can be identified by taking the interview of key people handling those responsibility area.

2)Define the plan to manage the stakeholders:

A written plan must be developed for managing the stakeholders. There should be some helpline and a team of people who always ready to listen from the stakeholders queries. It will also give a basis through which each steps of management can be implemented to the projected task. To ensure an effective communication system within project organization, it will be a better choice to opt for an integrative method to simultaneously communicate with each stakeholders. Online and latest technology must be implemented.

3) Management of stakeholders involvement in action:

There should be a proper system through which various stakeholders can be effectively management. For example: An enterprise resource planning ( ERP ) might be developed to manage all the vendors and suppliers.

A customer relationship management ( CRM) software can be utilized to mange the important stakeholder that is customer. CRM will also facilitate marketing communication with the existing as well as new customers.

4) Evaluation and control of stakeholders involvement:

Stakeholders management process will be complete when there will be a real time tracking of the performance of various stakeholders like vendors, supplier, customer, govt. There will be a performance measurements parameters on the basis of that the gaps will be identified. Control techniques will be utilized to take the corrective actions to improve the stakeholders involvement in the project.

Feedback system can also be utilized to facilitate the control of stakeholders.
