Look for an example of a good user interface design, and another example of a bad user interface design. Is there something that you use regularly that works well? Or really annoys you? You must choose your examples from social networking applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, or WhatsApp. Think about interfaces you use that you all the time. Why is that? Or ones that you knew exactly what they did from the first time you used them. Why? On the other end, what interface drive:s you crazy? Why do you seem to the same mistake with an interface regularly? Your examples and your reasoning should be specific. Focus on features of the user interfaces that makes your case even if other aspects of the interface are neutral to or opposing your argument. What to Write Your report should include one good example and one bad example. For each example - Describe the purpose of the overall interface. - Describe the particular aspect you find good or bad. Explain why it's good or bad. If bad, speculate why it might have been designed that way, and suggest a better design if possible. Illustrate with screenshots or photographs You have 2-3 pages for the write-up (10-12 font size, Times New Roman Font, 1.5 spacing, single-sided, page layout margins to be set to Normal 1 inch all sides) to provide the required information in paragraphs. Good Interface:

One of the best interfaces in the mobile applications that I like is Whats@pp which is the reason why it is still in the market and has merely very less competition. Since, it has been so user-friendly since the start and has been attracting people of all ages towards it.

The interface is quite great with simple functioning. The content tabs makes it more easy to navigate through the whole applications and making out with the app becomes easy for all the group of people.
It requires no expertise to handle an account in Whats@pp. It has great Green color which is light and the notifications are also minimizing the use of reopening the app once exited as we can now reply through the notification tab.
The chats are easy to read, delete, write and do all the manipulations easily.Chatting with Whats@pp has made life more easy as mobile is in hand utility and communication speed merely doubles when the use of whatsapp.
The privacy setup and all in the settings is also easy to set.Setting profile pictures, status, etc. is just a two click work and with all written on the app navigating through the app becomes easy and possibly comfortable.
Whats@pp has also started groups which are the most entertaining feature provided by the messaging giant. The group handling is also easy and the interface stimulates of how well the app is developed.
The interface on it's web feature called as Web Whats@pp is also easy to handle and is somewhat similar to the mobile application look.
Hence, this was all about the interface of the Whats@pp which is good and happening.

Now, we talk about the bad interface design which is none other than "Instagram". It seems to me a bit heavy and unorganized app. The reasons of it being this way is as follows:

Instagram is having same look as the Facebook application but being an photo sharing app it is not enough they must have something new to add to the internet. When it comes to Instagram Live the camera featuring is not upto the mark.
Whereas , the same Facebook Live consists of features such as stickers, emoticons , 360 degree in it and Instagram doesn't. This is where Instagram honestly lacks and has abided.
Instagram app is having comment section hidden whereas it must show 2-3 comments of each photo so that the visitor has a glance of what is happening in the comments and get time to spent on the profile.
Instagram is having good color though white and red combination. It works too, but the profile arrangement is pretty vague and must be organized. The photos must not be shown so publicly whereas , the bio of the user must be visible which is not.
There must be a proper bio for the user as it is there in Facebook. The interface must be changed and made upto mark so that no change is been offered to the users other than Instagram.
Hence, these are the reasons of Instagram being one of the baddest interfaces on the Internet.
