=VLOOKUP(A2,INDIRECT("'IO YTD actuals Report "&LEFT(C2,FIND(",",,C2)-1)&"'!$A$18:$o$5000"),15,TRUE) partially works..

Hello

I am using this formula quite often, but now I am facing a problem

I have sheets called Report and second part is month (july, august..), the name of the month is in column C. ID is in A.

Recently my formula gives me REF#, but only for July sheet. Other sheets are fine and get what I want. I have this problem in multiple workbooks.

Before I did not have this problem. I tried to find out where is the problem but no success.

I tried to have data in July sheet just a values, even sorted....

Thanks for help !!

Explanation / Answer

Hi...

The formula works fine so if it's giving a ref error for you then you need to check a couple of things...

1. C2. the 4 leftmost characters must be July followed by a comma ( , )

2. Check the name of the worksheet. It must be IO YTD actuals Report July.

with no extra spacess.
