2.Dow chemical is a big name in chemical industry of the United states and is the second largest corporation after BASF in terms of revenue as per many financial reports .Dow chemical merged its operations with Dupont in recent 2017 to have a stronger hold in the market.They chose to produce in all over the world not only to increase their production capacity but also to gain higher margins.In countries like India,Bangladesh and other asian countries they are more focussing their business in order to get high profit. If we will look into financial benefits there are lot of benefit DOW chemical getting by ths as listed Below

If we talk about Indiaan market for DOW chemicals, they are having high financial gain in the country as india is the 2nd highest populated country and 3rd largest consumers of polymers.Dow chemical now focussing on high margin business(at least giving 20% profit in Asian country) to gain more than 11$ billion from sales.

In india as per the new policy of 100% FDI in chemical industry and the launch of campaign "Chemistry Everywhere" makes it more easier for DOW to gain high profit margin.

Another huge benifit DOW chemical got in Bhopal chemical tragedy when the subsidiary of DOW chemical Union carbide didn't get much fine as compared to the harm they created due to the gas leak of methyl isocyanate(MIC) and as per the decission they only had to pay 470 million USD after 5 years of the tragedy(Bhopal tragedy 1984).This type of policies in Asian countries invites more US companies to invest outside US.
