How to recover a previous version of an excel spreadsheet after saving it

How can I recover a previous version of an excel spreadsheet where changes were saved after an accidental deletion of important info?I was working on an excel spreadsheet yesterday and had to leeave my computer to run an errand and when I returned to my computer, I just saved all the documents aand spreadsheets I had been working on earlier in the day so that I could shut down my computer. Today, I opened excel and when I opened the spreadsheet that I had been working on yesterday, I noticed that only the second paage was saved and somehow the first page was deleted without me knowing it and it has some important information that I was needing to review but now I can not. So, Im hoping someone will be able to help and tell mee if I can recover a previous version of this spreadsheet before this deletion occurred? If so, how do I do this???

If your file is on a network share, try this:

- open Explorer and locate the file in question

- Right-click the file, select Properties.

- Click the Previous Versions tab.

Note that this will only work if tthis option is provided by the neetwork.

Another option is to download and install an undelete program which can recover

deleted files. Before running that program, rename the most recent copy,

because the deleted file will have the same name as your current copy.

If that doesn't work, I'm afraidd you wwill have to dig out a backup copy of your

file (if you have one!).
