Question

I am working with a few large spreadsheets, and need to copy formulas down to row 2000 in new spreadsheets (in the current column).   I can scroll, but it takes quite a long time to scroll down 2000 rows.   The "control end" only works once the rows have been populated.

As a work-around, I have been using a numbered column, copy and paste the ccolumn intto thee spreaadsheet, then go to the end of it. That gets me in the right general area, but is also cumbersomee.

Is there an easy way to simply "go to cell A2000" in a clean spreadsheet????

Explanation / Answer

Alternatively, type A2000 in the name box, above the junction of the column/row headers, and tap Enter.

In either case, the cell reference may also be a range. i.e A2000:C2010

OR

F5 | A2000 | Enter
