Is there someone who can write me a page Android's methods for inter-process communication (for example shared memory or message systems, direct or indirect, one-way or two-way, e.g. mailboxes, pipes or ports). Any networking capabilities may also be discussed..

Please no plagiarism cut and pastes, I wouldn't be asking if I could google this stuff myself. I need a real insight on inter-process comms with Android OS.

i guess your answer is inter thread communication and its methods like

wait(),notify(), notifyAll()..... this way two thread can communicate among each other and can do tasks accordingly.
when one thread is in synchnorized block...
it renders all other thread wh try to envoke this sync method simultaneously

so current thread gives wait() methpd to second thread which will wait for its turn to get execute.

Now if cureent thread is done with execution

it calls notify () which will envke wait() thread to execute.

In this way one thread can communicate with others and tas can be performed without difficulty.
