The external environment is further divided into the general and task environment. Identify one or more sectors in the task environment which helps to create opportunities for entrepreneurs in the United States. Support your choice with a specific example. e.g. Governments and lenders are sectors in the task environment. In 1998, the State of NJ enacted the Technology Business Tax Transfer Program which enables approved Technology and Biotechnology Businesses with Net Operating Losses to sell their Unused Net Operating Loss Carryover (NOL) and Unused Research and Development Tax Credits (R&D Tax Credits) for at least 80% of the value of the tax benefits to a profitable corporate taxpayer in the State of New Jersey that is not an Affiliated Business. Eligibility requirements include that the company must have less than 225 employees. This program in effect has made the State of New Jersey a lender to early stage biotechnology companies, Plan Smart NJ.

Customers are the first thing that entrepreneurs thinks about because they create demand for their product customer is the king of market. they are the source of income for a business. for example- If customer want more cars , then there will be more demand for the car parts made by profit.
Suppliers are the another sector that affect the business because they are the ones from which entrepreneur buys product to produce or manufactoring their parts.
Competitors are also major factor for entrepreneurs when we talk about task environment. because may be other companies providing the same products and competing for the same customers.
Government regulations may also affect the entrepreneurs. it impact how the things are done in a particular company. For example change in interest rates will determine how much money the entrepreneur can borrow.
