I have a question about my dell inspiron mothboard!!! my laptop turn off right after i turn it on, if i hold the power button when i turn it on , it show the screen for 2 sec longer.The screen is working fine, the power from the charger adapter is not going to motherboard, it turn on because i bought a new battery, otherwise it would not charge or do anything using the charger. also the charger is working fine i tested the charger and it works on a different laptop, I tried to used different hard drive, and removed one of the ram sticks, and after that i remove everything, except CPU, graphic card, and still turn off after 1 to 2 sec, and also don't know if i need to change the power jack because it not sending anything from the charger to motherboard !!!
Please help. if anything you can help me with here !!! thank you for your time!!!

i)This will reset the laptop if it had problems with hibernation.
1. remove the battery and power cord
2. push and hold down the power button for 45 seconds
3. restore battery and power cord
4. restart the laptop
ii)Call your Dell Customer Care. They are able to diagnose the problems even on phone.
iii)Try manipulating the RAM cards in the slots(if you have 2 cards)
1.Pull out both the RAMs
2.Use a clean eraser to clean the golden colored contact surfaces
3.Make sure to remmove all left-outs of the eraser. Blow them away.
4.Try using the RAMs one at a time in both the slots.
iv)There colud be a problem with your CMOS battery though it is limited only to the BIOS menu and Settings.(Most probably not)
