The disorder which is the cause of above symptom is listeriosis.
Listeriosis is caused by listeria monocytogens a bacteria which is tramsmitted through consumption of contaminated food and water.it is found everywhere in environment.
The above symptoms listed are caused by listeria and the bacteria can be transmitted from mother to baby while delivery through birth canal or during pregnancy.
Escherichia coli-
It is a gram negative bacteria.It releases shiga toxin which is responsible for the disease it causes that is bloody diarrhoea,urinary tract infection and CNS manifestations such as seizures and coma.
It is transmitted through uncooked food mainly meat.
Spongiform encephalopathy-
It is a type of bse.Caused by prion,a causative agent (misfolded proteinaceous structure) and is transmitted through ingestion of cattle products.
Symptoms include- some psychiatric problems,cerebral ataxia and dementia.
Campylobacter jejuni- it is gram negative bacteria and it is transmitted through contaminated food and water mainly through undercooked poultry nad non pasteurized milk.
It causes camphylobacteriosis which includes symptoms like- vomiting ,diarrhoea,abdominal pain,nausea,cramping etc.
It can be treated with ciprofloxacin.
