Use the Microsoft Word emplate on the next page to type in your answers (5 questions worth 5 points each; 25 points possible) HISTORY: The patient was a 13-year-old female who came to your orthopedic outpatient clinic with a chief complaint of right knee pain after she was injured during an age-group soccer match. She had no prior history of knee injuries but was slide tackled during a game earlier that morning and she could not continue. Her knee was grossly swollen, and she described her current level of pain as "8" out of 10. Her parents had gone to a drug store and purchased crutches for her so that she could ambulate. She experienced menarche at age 12, and currently has regular menstrual cycles. All vital signs were within normal limits. II. PHYSICAL EXAMINATION: On physical examination, she presented pain on palpation on the medial tibiofemoral joint margin. Active range of motion was limited to 5 degrees of knee extension and 75 degrees of knee flexion. She had positive valgus stress test and a positive Lachman test. McMurray test was negative. Neurological examination revealed no motor or sensory abnormalities. Distal pulses were intact in both limbs.
