2.Cavernous Sinus  are located next to the lateral aspect of the body of the sphenoid bone It receives blood from middle superficial cerebral veins and  superior and inferior ophthalmic veins

The inferior petrosal sinuses are tlocated on the inferior border of the petrous part of the temporal bone, one on each side.

The superior petrosal sinus is located beneath the brain.
