Explanation / Answer

Mr. Tim Minchin during his honorary doctorate by The University of Western Australia held the audience in his control through his enthralled speech. He had lots of humour in his speech that kept the audience entertained with lots of laughter. He was clear in his message with his nine points. He was talking very appropriately with the graduates as they prepare for their careers. He maintained his humour throughout while at the same time hitting the audience with more powerful truth about the events and facts. One of the most important things about his speech was that he was very powerful in sending his message across. Although it took a while for him to get the audience’ attention due to his fast paced speech. It was really good because he didn’t bind his speech within the traditional boundary but took it to the audience’s language.
