Friends vary in their priority order but Usually most of them find inke give and quantitative evidences more accurate such as facts and statistics . eg If a person has committed criminal activity in large quantity then it will be easy for them to believe that person is the culprit in the current case.
The least convincing are the witness testimony as it involves a degree of subjectivity with it. Nobody can ascertain the real intention of witness, sometimes even witness himself does not know whether he is right or wrong. Those who know have less confidence in such evidences.
Their evaluation changes a little bit depending on situation. If a serious crime like murder has happened then they may give more weightage to witness if he happen to be close relative of deceased as they believe injustice has been done and family member would be knowing it better.
