Social psychology is the study how human relates to each other ,how they perceive ,and get influence .According to a defination social psychology helps to understand the thoughts, feelings and behaviour of individual by the actual ,imagined or implied presence of others .
Social psychology studies is a study of human and his behaviour .
And if we compare it to educational psychology than educational psychology helps us to understand how human learn.It is a study of human learning,it helps researchers to understand individual intelligence, cognitive development ,motivation, as well as their role in learning .
The main difference in both is that educational psychology study paya the specific attention on study of learning of human ,while social psychology helps us to understand the behaviour of human ,like emotion ,feelings.
People what they see and hear belive on it ,for example if a person is pass out from some renowned college of engineering and earning a huge fortune ,tha people will thing that because he passed out from renowned engineering college he is earning huge salary but reality is that he is earning because of his hard work .Social psychology can help socity to break the misconception about wrong things ,like in politics many people belive that this politician is good but in reality he is corrupt so media can play huge role in to change the thinking of people who thinks the politician is good.This will help the society . Many rape victims in some society are disgraced ,but other people can help to change their perception towards the rape victim by teaching that even they are the part of society.
Example: Saving environment ,social psychology can help to change the behiour and thinking of human that how important is environment is for this planet . And media can play a huge role in it by teaching the people and telling them what problem can occur when our environment is harmed ,we can face many health related issues ,animals should not be killed as they are getting extinct. Plants should be planted ,which helps to maintain balance on earth .These things can be thought to people who are illeterate or never gone to school and even those who knows everything but still does the same thing .
