Both the options have their advantages and disadvantages. As in western culture where one tries to fix the problems has positive approach towards life . This develops competence and generate various skill that help person to live a satisfactory life . However there are certain disadvantages too. People in such culture are engaged many a times , in solving the unsolvable. There are some problems which one cannot solve and needs to move on rather than sticking to it.

On the other hand , eastern culture where people tends to live with problem rather than fixing it has its advantages that people focus on living and getting satisfaction from other things rather than being disappointed with problems. However , such culture misses an opportunity to develop problem solving skills.

I was faced with a problem of in my watch . I tried resolving for hours even though I was not an expert at it. It took whole day then also I could not resolve it. This made me understand that one cannot solve all the problems . He need to to take help of others for such problems if they can be resolved or try to develop ability to live with those problems.
