Explanation / Answer

Personal Code of Ethics.

Personal code of ethics and values defines our character and essence. The attitude, behaviour and belief we associate and implement in our daily lives reveals about our inner world (psyche).Below are few statements that I believe describes my ethics and values at its best.

1. I will not remain neutral at a sight of violence and injustice because I believe that it is important to raise your voice against injustice and that by remaining neutral to the situation, one becomes an accomplice of the violator.

2. I will try my best to remain calm in situations which instigate violence. I know it is easier said than done, but if I can master the art of stillness, I will become a composed person.

3. I will make sure that I do not participate in any situation that demands me to harm myself or any other person. Sometimes, we give in to peer pressure and become a part of the group that bully or mock others. Not only this is unkind but forces us to strip ourselves of our values. I will try to avoid this.

4.I will try my best to not consume anything that I do not need. Over-consumption of things we do not need reflects our obsession with accumulation and greed to want more. I will try to live minimalistic and find joy in little things.

5.I will fall in love with myself a little more each day. I will accept my flaws ,success, failures and scars as they are.It made me who I am today.

6.I will value what I have , instead of thinking what I don't or could have had.Gratitude is necessary as it makes us realise the importance of little things that we have in our life. So, each day I will try to be more greatful than I am today.

Above are the few code of ethics that I incorporate in my attitude, cognition and behaviour, for a positive outlook towards life.
