Second Amendment and gun control laws is one area of discussion that has plagued every household in America.America witnessed the shooting of Sandy Hook in the year 2012 and since then, there has been more than 1600 mass shootings across America. AR15 assault rifles were the choice of weaponary that was mostly used by the psychologically distrauted gunmen. American government should consider implementing strict surveillance and policies of the possession of gun among its civilians. There should be a ethical support for gun control laws and its filtered ownshership to prevent the tragic mass shootings that are being witnessed across America. One needs to remember that the gun ownshership isn't the only diagnosis to the problem. The government must restrict the sale of a ammunition as well. The amount of ammunitions that one re-purchase must be under strict surveillance of the State. Apart from this, a detailed psychological testing must be done of the population who are purchasing any form of gun. Extreme vetting for gun ownshership must be implemented. No mentally disabled, emotionally unstable and domestically violent family members should be allowed to buy guns. If one can't find the right diagnosis, then the treatment would always relapse and one would end up paying a heavy price for it. Therefore, there should be a support for gun control laws and its filtered ownership to prevent tragic mass shootings in America.
