The pace of organizations is faster than ever due to technology advances and impatience in stakeholder groups. There is increased diversity due to globalization. The workforce is more nomadic; few people today spend their entire careers in a single company. This puts a lot of pressure on leaders and may demand new or evolved competencies.

Ability to set the vision and drive as well as keep entire organization align towards the common vision. Ability to take corrective course of action and keep everyone convinced towards the goal which organization has kept for company.
Interpersonal competencies: This competency helps leaders to develop self as well as same time he should be able to develop others. Human resources are the most critical in success and with increase in team diversity it become imperative for leaders to possess this competency for better team building. This also helps in gaining team’s trust as leader and team start following and keep themselves loyal to organization.
In depth Knowledge of environment & System in which business operates, this helps in taking right decision especially in difficult situation. This also help in have better understanding of industry and competition and drives the organization in right strategic direction.
Organization competencies: This competency deals with performance management, innovative decision making, information management, financial management, Risk management.
Quality Management: Quality management in today’s business environment has got great importance as it has become very important factor for sustainability of business. In case of any industry (Manufacturing or Service) it becomes the most important competency which a leader should have.
