Instructions: Write an Essay on the key concept and mental “tool” to crack difficult problems – and one that may help hold together many of the new concepts we are learning: i.e., the Paradox of Structure.

NOTE: To explore this concept, begin by identifying and discussing a practical example of a paradigm (based on Kuhn’s original definition) that you encounter in your daily life (personal or professional), describing in detail how it meets the criteria discussed in Lesson 2.

1.     Then, using Kirton’s notion of the Paradox of Structure, discuss in detail how the paradigm you have identified both enables and limits the problem solving efforts of its practitioners (including you!).

Kuhn Paradox of structure--It is a set of postulates of beliefs which identify the ability and skill to solve scientific problems without justifying the scientific basis for the solution of problems,concepts and theories in science.It involves the study and solution of problems by einstein theory of relativity, newton theory of gravity, astronomy studies, physics laws for the solving of problems.As it is justified that every action of work or phenomenon in physics has a cause like rotation of earth but Kuhn theory only applies to the development of formula for the solution of physics phenomenon without the study of effect and cause of scientific phenomenon.During study and solving of scientific problems there are many physical factors and variables which are left out during development of earlier theories and are developed later by other scientists who study these physical problems in detail as evident in the Kuhn paradox theory along with the additional mathematical and statistical derivative functions involved in the development of physics theories by different scientists who have a different perception about the scientific physical mechanism.

Kirton's notion of paradox of structure--It involves the adaptation-innovation study which involves certain factors for the development of scientific theories like development of ideas,environment for the development of ideas, behavior observed while development of ideas,cognition and knowledge required for the development of ideas,setting up of adaptive and implementation points for infrastructure development, initialization of concepts, designing of final end results, testing of ideas, feasibility and reliability of ideas, userfriendliness of ideas for development of theories.
