According to Kant, it is imperative to treat humanity as an end in itself: Act in such a way that we treat humanity, as an end and never simply as a means. Hence based on this principle it was unethical for A to ridicule B with hurtful comments about B's appearance in this case as A was using B as a means to satisfy his prejudice, which is unethical according to Kant.
