Help: Suppose a professional, A, surprises a coworker, B, by ridiculing an aspect of B's apperance. A does this humilating at a meeting attended by superiors, and coworkers, of A and B. A ridicules B in an attempt to draw attention to what A takes to be A's own attractive apperance, and to seem clever. Use Kant's Principle of Humanity, to explain one of the reasons it was unethical for A to ridicule B with hurtful comments about B's appearance in this case.

According to Kant, it is imperative to treat humanity as an end in itself: Act in such a way that we treat humanity, as an end and never simply as a means. Hence based on this principle it was unethical for A to ridicule B with hurtful comments about B's appearance in this case as A was using B as a means to satisfy his prejudice, which is unethical according to Kant.
