I am writing about the U.S Teen Birth Rate decreasing in the last 20 years but am having trouble writing brief sentences for my proposal. I am saying that it has decreased because of more effective contraceptive and sex education in school.

As per the reports of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 80% of pregnancies are unintended. Due to the availability of efficient contraceptives and other birth control methods, during 2000-2012, the percent teen pregnancies decreased by 47%. Since 2013, the teen pregnancies have dropped by 9%. Throughout the world, the overall drop in teen pregnancies from 1991 to 2014 was 61%. As per the reports of a government survey conducted in 2016, the teen rate was dropped by 9% when compared to 2015.
