One of the major issues that concerns me in the society is domestic violence.

Domestic violence is one of the major issues that concerns the society as a whole. Not only is the couple affected, but there is a huge impact on the growth and development of the children as well. The children who come up in such situations, are affected mentally , as they turn up to be more aggressive, mentally disturbed , frustrated, introvert, reserved. They may either learn from the mistakes that the parents have made or may continue to turn in the same direction or indulge themselves in abusive practices or sink in alcohol and drugs.

There may be many causes such as male dominance, history of abuse, mistrust within the couple, extra marital affairs, Non cooperation or understanding.

Proposed solutions may include :

In irder to solve or ellivate this problem, trust has to be built within the couple with respect for one another. If there is respect between the two, there will never be a situation of violence at home.
