The research on identifying the goals of the terrorists will be of much interest for psychologists, particularly the criminal psychologists as they are interested in finding out the relevant factors which influence the making of a criminal mind. If a historical research is conducted with the aim of figuring the factors which led to 9/11 attacks is properly done then a number of findings can be made and persons who are suspected to have criminal mind can undergo a corrective therapy workshop which will deter their ideas of committing such crimes. The message to be accepted and appreciated by the audience is always the one which is tailor-made to suit the specific requirements of its target audience. Therefore, a profile of the audience has to be studied which should include the following- age, culture and knowledge of the subject. Moreover, appropriateness or relevance to audience, purpose of speech and topic are also relevant to understand. Therefore, in this paper I would include the relevant details like, what factors pushed them to become terrorist, what can be done beforehand to deter a person from getting involved in heinous crimes, how can be the potential suspects be identified? etc. On the whole, it may be concluded that this research paper must do full justice to the research question.
