CD is conduct disorder and ODD is oppositional defiant disorder. Both of these are related to children - ODD is characterized by persitent negative, hostile or disobidient behaviour. In conduct disorder child voilates to laws, rules noticeably of the society. DSM states that both display relatively less concern for feelings and welfare of others. They have less empathy or guiltThere are many questions left answered in DSM 5 related to experiments of ODD and CD such as development from ODD to CD. My answer would include mainly the diiference between ODD and CD which is not restricted to DSM - 5

ODD can be learned behaviour, children withh ODD often have hyper activeness, anxiety. Children with ODD deliberately annoy others, refuse to take responsibility, blame others for their mistakes. It is not a disorder it can be unlearned also by the help of school psychologisto so.A child gets angry easily, argues with adults, refuses to obey elders

CD - commonly occurs when child is having ODD is not treated. Here the child takes a next step of not obeying the rules, such as running away from school, stealing small things. CD is more progressed towards, bullying others or animal cruelty, initiating ohysical fights, deliberate destruction of property
