Yes, everyone has a power to develop beyond their current competency. Eg – A friend of mine was an engineer. He was fired. He developed himself to be an entrepreneur.
Leaders are monitored by all. If a leader makes a mistake, it leads to a very bad impression among followers and therefore leaders need to be aware of their mental models.
