Entrepreneurship is the fundamental requirement in this process as entrepreneur sources finances , creates an organization and takes risks without which an organization cannot sustain.

Organizational theory deals with making an organizational structure that can support strategy. The theory states that are various types of organization designs such as Functional , divisional , hybrid , matrix , technostructure , project based etc to support various organization strategies and that if there is misalignment between organizational structure and strategy then goals would not be achieved.

So when their is a change in org strategy then org structure change needs to be done and this organizational change's success or failure will determine whether or not strategy will success or not. Change can be a really cumbersome and painful event and it very much depends on current structure and culture in organization.

An organization with a strong sense of brotherhood , concern for broader organization goals , alignment and shared vision is really easy to change because its culture brings all together. on the other hand an organization with power play dynamics , suboptimal goal setting and self concerned employees only that are not willing to collaborate will be very difficult to change.
