Must be a half a page response: Has to do with overtraining and overreaching
A coach has noticed that several of his athletes are not performing at their anticipated standard in the weight room for the past few weeks. He is unsure whether this is from lack of effort on the part of the athletes or if something else is going on. The athletes are about two weeks into on-field training and are currently at their heaviest for both volume and intensity in the weight room. What major issue could be developing, and what are some signs that the strength coach could be on the lookout for?
Explanation / Answer
During exercise body weight is generally decreased due to fat dissolution and weight increased is due to increase in lean body mass or mascular mass. And for development of muscles and increase in lean body mass proper proteinaceous diet should be taken and about 2 gm of protein nessessory for per kg of body weight for development of muscles. Along with protein all other components of balanced diet should be taken in proper proportion. And overexercise should not be done and excessive lactic acid should b desolved by taking proper rest.
