Acording to the conduction test performed by her neurologist, Annie's nerve function was normal, because there was no nerve fatigue and the conduction velocity was also fine, nerves were perfectly all fine. According to the emg test i.e. the electromyography test the muscles were fine when they were stimulated directly but when muscles were stimulated with nerves, problem was observed as her muscle response was observed to be decreased quickly during the time period of repeated nerve stimulation and fatigue was observed in her muscle response, indicating that she was suffering from muscle weakness. considering the answer to situation 1 and 2, Annie's motor nerves produce a skeletal response that fatigued during repeated stimulation because of certain problems in the communication. generally, the nerves communicate with the mucles when the neurotransmitters like acetylcholine are released and when they bind with the receptors present on the neuromuscular junction in the muscle cells. This problem might arise because of the weakened immune system because certain antibodies which are produced as a result of weak immune system, blocks the receptors. As these receptors are blocked there are only a few receptors left which receive the stimulus, as a result of this the repeated stimulation to only a few receptors will cause muscle fatifgue.
