Question

As we observed on the news that most of the news media are biased toward either left or right. Actually, it’s unavoidable that people have different and even opposing views. Internet customers are encouraged to rate the products or services using 5-stars review system. Based on the diversity of people’s viewpoints, do you think it’s a fair system? Why? Read this article http://time.com/money/page/online-reviews-trust-fix/ (July 2016) and provide your views on the effectiveness of the 5-stars review system

Explanation / Answer

Despite its pitfalls, I feel that a 5-star review system offers a chance to the customer to share their feedback about a product or service. Customers are awarding highly positive ratings when they are sufficiently satisfied, and perhaps that information is enough for other customers.
