Explanation / Answer

I do approve of passive or voluntary active euthanasia in my personal case. I would do so because i believe choosing peaceful death over living a stagnant life that includes physical as well as mental pain and economically weakens the family.

Benefits of legalizing active Euthanasia is that in this process the death is chosen voluntarily by the patient. This phase genuinely comes only when the patient doesn't accept an ill life over death and comparatively is lesser painful and favourable to the patient and the family.

Active Euthanasia also makes good sense because it doesn't anyhow shortens one's life. Someone already almost dead is given utmost peace by being offered with active or passive euthanasia.

In the case of Sandra Bam, a famous gender-role psychologist, who chose to embrace peaceful death with the use drug than living with Alzeimer's portrays that Euthanasia is highly favourable for terminally ill diseases.

There have been multiple controversies on this issue in many nations like Holland, Netherlands and India but euthanasia seemed to have made its way somehow or other into the system of the countries.

Focusing on the negative aspect of Euthanasia is that, the patient's property rights can be misused or taken advantage of by the family members. The will of the patient enters the higher chance of being tampered in such cases of preferred deaths. These reasons has come up as the major issue in the courts while passing Euthanasia law in coutnries India.
