Explanation / Answer

1. Reinforcement theories work by motivating the person, either to promote a behavior or reduce a behavior. This helps a person in carrying out their actions. An example of reinforcement in workplace is appreciation and bonuses. When a person carries an act and they keep getting incentives, they tend to perform those actions in a manner that is better and that makes him perform those actions better. These would be referred to as positive reinforcements which help in increase of productivity as well as boosting the morale of a person. The employees develop a sense of self worth along with feeling that their work is being appraised. This makes them think that the employee should be making progress and their self doubts would be removed.
