Explanation / Answer

Perspective chosen: Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic perspective is related to effect of emotional and psychological forces originating in childhood and their effect in adulthood.

Character chosen from an animated movie for character's analysis: Elsa from the movie 'Frozen'.

Analysis: In the movie 'Frozen' Elsa as an adult with a sister and no parents always prefers being in her room and rarely opens up the door to let her younger sister in except on the day of Queen ceremony.

The reason for this behaviour dates back to childhood when her baby sister was quite young and Elsa once accidentally while playing , froze her sister's brain while playing. So , now the King and the queen who are Elsa's parents warn Elsa to not show her 'freezing' super power to the world. 'To be a good girl' and tame it.

Now after growing up this forms a part of Elsa's super ego that in order to be a good girl she needs to keep her powers hidden from the world and especially stay away from her sister to keep her safe. So though her id wants her to spend more time with her sister her ego doesn't let her.
