Regardless and so called - I think they are biased as it states whatever the facts are today leaving that what they believe is true and also that other facts are either no0t important or less important. the starting sentence and the but attached to it has been used as a biasis as it makes clear that despite of this fact it is still what he thinks. the reason in the end has been biased as they have actually alligned it with their thoughts only. the whole community was said to be poor in india which presents a biased statement towards indians talking of their betterment. the beginning of the sentance states that although it was criticised still with a based view they turned it to be in line with their belief the power of britishers has been shown to be negative and that of the indians to be positive which shows biased viewpoint in the ending.
