State-dependent learning refers to the retrieval of information happening at the same state of mind as the information encoding, for example people recalling certain information while on alcohol but when they are not on alcohol.
Context-dependent learning refers to the place that helps one to retrieve information but when one moves to some other place one won’t be able to recall the information. Recalling is possible only when the person is at the same place of encoding.
