Explanation / Answer

Self-esteem: Self-esteem is the subjective manner in which an individual perceives themselves in all aspects that encompass their lives. These perceptions about themselves can be either negative or positive. Self-esteem can be either high or low, depending on the type of social interaction a person has and whether the feedback that they receive from other people in their lives is negative or positive.

Self-efficacy: According to Albert Bandura, self-efficacy is the belief in one's ability to influence events that affect one's life and control over the way these events are experienced. In other words, your belief in your ability to handle a situation will determine how you perceive the situation in question. For example, you are confident in that you will always get an A in your Social Psychology class because you have a fair understanding of the concepts covered. When your professor gives you a surprise pop-quiz at the beginning of class, you might not be as panicked as the rest of your class.

Self-serving Bias: This refers to the tendency to blame outside influences for negative outcomes and take complete credit for positive outcomes. This bias is also influenced by a person's self-esteem.

Self-perception: Self-perception refers to the way that we perceive ourselves based on our own actions. For example: you sign petitions to conserve energy and save the environment, you recycle, and you do not litter. Therefore, you are a person who is concerned about the health of our planet.
