Thought Experiment -- Triadism? Cartesian Dualism is the theory that there exists two fundamentally different kinds of things - physical, extended things and mental, thinking things. Construct an original theory according to which three types of things exist. Explain what those three things are, whether they can interact with each other, what properties they have, etc. Be creative. (Feel free to use the physical/nonphysical distinction and introduce a third category, just make sure to explain all three types of things).

Explanation / Answer

Cartesian dualism is the concept of ancient history which analyses and gives much more clarity to the dual concepts in two different things or objects. This theory is based on the two things like body and mind , one is tangible and another one is intangible but there is a co-relation between the two. These two things are interdependent on each other and there is a relation in between them that one cant respond without the help of the other one.

This is the very basic concept of the cartesian dualism but further researches have bee conducted by the researchers and the fundamentalists and now this concept is applied to several other things which introduces a third thing into it . It helps the researcher to understand that how the first thing is related to third one and how the middle thing is related to both of them. For example- relation between drinks , drunkards and the situation which motivates the drunkards to drink more. These three things are inter related and researcher have done research on each of this three different things , two of which are tangible and other one is intangible. Results shows that the intangible one and the new introduced thing is much more impacted and rather than to change both the other tangible things , if needed the third thing can change the two other things accordingly to change the situations.
