The tests of IQ check the intelligence of the person in a variety of areas. The IQ test of knowedge and intelligence is important. It depends upon the environmental factors influencing the behavior and the intelligence of the person. The various types of tests are mentioned under the Gardner multi-intelligence tests. The Wechsler tests analyze the intelligence of a person on a scale index. According to him there are general and specific intelligence abilities of a person. Gardner has described various IQ tests accordingly as mentioned below--

Sternberg has defined three intelligence skills as mentioned --analytical, creative and practical. It includes the ability to take importnat decisions, ability to think in a rationale way, ability to acquire knowledge, ability to store knowledge, ability to recollect and remember the stored knowledge, ability to recognize the knowledge given or imparted and the ability to use the knowldege in a practical sense in life. If the scores in the IQ exams are good then it is called as analytical knowledge. If the scores are not good but thinking is good , then it is known as creative knowledge. The analysis of the scores is done by Stanford-Binet test. Practical intelligence involves the ability of the person to think rationally and to take good decisions in life. Daniel Goleman has discussed the emotional intelligence. It was developed initially Peter salovey and John Mayor. It is the ability to discuss, analyze and interpret emotions correctly in life.
