Explanation / Answer

Peter Berger is an austian born american sociologist . He gave a statement of seeing the general in the particular", Which means having a perspective of the world around us whih includings feelings , emotions and general behaviours of human beings in a society . He says that every human being have different behaviour patterns . In every span of a lifestyle people change with thier behaviour based on maturity and life experiences .The society also categories people under different criterias such as elder, Younger, Rich and poor . The society influences us to differenciate and generalise people based on certain catergories .

Eg : Marriage : Marriage is bound only by love . But we look at other aspects like age, Race , financial status and gender etc to socially accept a person as our partner in life .

Why is a global approach a logical extension of the sociological perspective?

structural-functional approach means its a way of explaining how a society exits and functions and the aspects which forms a society is known as structural- functional approcah of sociology .

structural-functional approach is important as it leads to proper working of the society . They are several institutions like goverment or religious institutions in which , they have certain set norms to follow and act according to the set norms of the society or the institutions .

Gender conflict is one of the most discussed topic of recent time . In the past, Women were treated inequally and had no equal powers of men according to the society . It was a male dominated society and the female must obey to certain set norms of religious institutions .

Heterosexism :Hetrosexium was the on;y lawful marriage in the past years . They believed that any other marriage or relationship other than Hetrosexisn was considered disadvatages and was not accepted by the society or any lawful institutes .

what is the difference between a macro-level and micro-level theoretical orientation.

Macro level :The micro-level perspective focuses on small details and everyday communication . It's the knowledge you have on an issue and try to influence your thoughts on crtain practices that contribute to that issue.

Macro-Level :The macro-level perspective considers the full outlook of the thoughts. Macro-level issues incorporates smaller micro-level issues.

spurious correlation is a relationship where in two events/variables that actually have no logical connection are reason to be related due an unseen third occurrence.

Eg :A student notices that on the days she is too lazy to wake up and get ready for college, are the days when there are road accidents. Of course, there is no correlation. The reason here is probably the weather, which causes her to become lethargic, and also cause road accidents.

Deductive resoning : means it is a kind of reasoning which is logical and true .

Eg : I am a Female . Which means the true statemsts are known as deductive reasioning .

Inductive reasoning : In inductive reasoning , is where it has specific data and the conclusion drawn fron the data is known as inductive reasoning and it is excatly opposite to deductive reasoning .

Eg : The chair in the living room is yellow. The chair in the dining room is yellow. The chair in the bedrrom is yellow. All chairs in the house are yellow.

While conducting a reasrch , The researchers have a set of ethics to be followed in order to carry out a research .

The researcher must inform the participant about all the terms and conditions and the procedure of the experiments and the risk involved in the reasearch . The researcher must also gives all the details to the participant and take a consent if the participant is ok with all the procedures and risk involving factors and only then proceed with the findings . This is known as informed consent .
