W.E.B Du Bois helped students and people everywhere to see the deeply racial divisions in the United States. He did this by pointing out African Americans and their "double consciousness" reflecting their status as people who are never able to escape identification based on color of their skin. The Philadelphia Negro is a study done by Du Bois, basically during this study he explored Philadelphia's African American community and identified both the strengths and weaknesses of people who deal with overwhelming social problems regularly. If Du Bois were alive today he'd be ashamed of the racial inequality of the twenty-first century. He invented the NCAAP organization and worked hard tirelessly to challenge laws the deprived African Americans of their rights enjoyed by the white majority. But a century later and things are still not right. Du Bois would say that race is a bigger problem in the twenty-first century. He would definitely point out the falling lives to police brutality and the Colin Kaepernick talk. Lastly, since things have got worse, he may take actions to make another organization similar to the NCAAP because race is major problem in the United States.

William Edward Burghardt “W. E. B.” Du Bois (1868-1963) was was a leading African-American sociologist, writer and activist. Educated at Harvard University and other top schools, Du Bois studied with some of the most important social thinkers of his time. He earned fame for the publication of such works as Souls of Black Folk (1903), and was a founding officer of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and editor of its magazine. Dubois also taught at Wilberforce University and Atlanta University, and chaired the Peace Information Center.During this experience of teaching students, W.E.B Du Bois helped students and people everywhere to see the deeply racial divisions in the United States. He did this by pointing out African Americans and their "double consciousness" reflecting their status as people who are never able to escape identification based on color of their skin. He studied this social issue extensively & challenged the belief systems of many. He invented the NCAAP organization and worked hard tirelessly to challenge laws the deprived African Americans of their rights enjoyed by the white majority. Even so many years ater, racial inequality continues to hamper the socioemotional well-being of thousands of people. This can be attributed to the fact that not so many people have a courageous heart like himself to stand against all odds & make their voices heard. Race still continues to be a major source of concern in the United States where evident discrimination on the basis of color is practiced perpetually.
