The fact that someone is willing to buy compiled data about me is not a justification for someone to compile it and sell it without my consent because selling and communicating data without consent of the user is a violation of my right to privacy.

2. Data collection should be restricted to an extent because there are regulations which prohibit collection and access of data by organizations.

It is fair if my landlord investigate my new neighbor before renting them because it is the landlord's right but not mine and even there is limitation of the landlord in acquiring data about the new neighbor. for example he cannot ask about the neighbor's work and details, but he can ask about the company.
