Question

Hello,

I am trying to build this circuit. It is a three-stage BJT audio amplifier. It is an LM380. It will be hooked up to an 8 Ohm speaker. I understand the components. But I am unsure of how to physically build this. What is "Bypass"? How do I hook that part up? Also, what gets attached to "-IN" Is that the audio going in? So a microphone would work?  I am assuming "Output" is where the speaker goes. I imagine VS is Voltage Supply. Thanks for the clarification. I know this is a stupid question but I am trying to create a recreational speaker... thanks.
