Ans:- The reduction in cost and resource efficiency can be achieved through healthcare operations management. There are following examples of it:-

a). In a healthcare organisation sanitation plays a major role. In this case daily review of sanitary activity plays a major role. There must be schedules distributed for cleaning and with efficiently following the schedule proper higene can be maintained. This leads to creation of impact on patients and further word of mouth.

b). Visiting hours of doctors should be standardised and schedule should be maintained for daily review of every patient. Through proper measure of doctor's timing the productivity of hospital can be increased, This can lead to more patients visiting the hospital due to superior medical service.

c). Ethics should be maintained in a healthcare organisation to gain the trust of patients. No patient should be charged extra. No patient should be recommended unnessary test. This will lead to further trust development and increase in productivity for hospital.

d). A healthcare organisation should have some charitable fund to help financially deprived patients. This can also lead to good brand image creation for the organisation.
