Question

this is the outcome of the anova Problem 4 (8pts) This is the outcome of the ANOVA test on the production data of five factories R1 - R5. Research questions is to find which factory or factories have the best production? (B)(3pts) Write a report (C)(3pts) Do we know as a result of ANOVA test which factory or factories have the largest production or we need to do the follow-up tests? If we do need the follow-up tests which ones? Explain in no more than 3 lines.

Explanation / Answer

For this problem we have given ANOVA Output, so by looking the output we can conclude below results,

(A) The Null Hypothesis

H0: The mean production of all five factories are same.

for more knowledge purpose,

Alt. Hypothesis: Any one of the factory mean production are differ from other factories.

(B) Report

By looking P-Value and F calculated and F Critical we can conclude that,

P-value < 0.05 (Usually we took significance level 0.05), reject H0

And F cal > F critical, reject H0

So, we conclude that the means of all five factories production are not same (Any of factory mean are differ from other factory mean)

Therefore, the all factories production are not equal.

(C) By looking the averages of factories we can say that R1 factory have largest production.
